A true innovator in the lithium industry, introducing technologies from the Oil and Gas and other sectors to improve results in lithium exploration, development and production. Extensive experience as a lithium consultant in brine and hard rock pegmatite projects globally. Preparation of JORC and NI 43-101 compliant reports on lithium, potash and borate projects covering resource estimates, exploration results, exploration program design and supervision. Clients include Orocobre, developer of the first major greenfields lithium brine project in 20 years and a +2B$ company; Lithium Power International, developer of the Maricunga lithium project in Chile; Agrimin – an aspiring SOP potash developer in Australia, and numerous other lithium and potash exploration and development companies across Argentina, Chile, Australia, China and other countries. Responsible for managing groups of geoscientists undertaking exploration and drilling programs on salt lakes across South America, from initial sampling to detailed resource development and interaction with engineering companies for project design. Contributor to multiple pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, in aspects such as exploration and resource definition, reserve definition and management of groundwater modelling, environmental monitoring, data management, personnel management, competent person reporting and preparing and presenting advances of projects. Experience with project water balances and understanding of the Andean environment and geology. Experienced QGIS and Mapinfo GIS user and geological modeller, with experience using Leapfrog software for modelling salt lake deposits.
